Delete Your Account

Jigsaw Addict lets you delete your account and the data associated with it at any time. You can do this yourself from inside the app, or by sending us a request by email. This page explains both methods, and exactly what data is deleted and what is kept.
There is no fee for deleting your account, and you do not need an account to read these instructions.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (instant)
- Open Jigsaw Addict on your device.
- If you are not already signed in, sign in with the account you want to delete (Discord, Google, or Apple).
- Open the menu using the ☰ button.
- Tap "Delete account & data".
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately and the app returns you to a fresh guest session.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in, or you would rather we handle it, email us and we will delete your account for you:

- Subject line: "Delete my Jigsaw Addict account"
- In the message, include the account you sign in with (your Discord, Google, or Apple display name or user ID) so we can find and remove the right record.
You can also reach us on our Discord server. We action deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile record, including your cached username, avatar, and optional country.
- Your account identity links to Discord, Google, and Apple.
- Your gameplay statistics and your participation records in past puzzle sessions.
- Puzzle images you uploaded, removed from our storage on a best-effort basis.
What data is kept, and for how long
We do not retain personal profile data after deletion. A few limited exceptions may apply:
- Shared puzzle rooms: a puzzle session record may remain so it is not broken for other players who took part, but it is no longer linked to your identity.
- Backups: data may persist in routine encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups expire and it is permanently gone.
- Legal obligations: we keep nothing for marketing or analytics (we run no ads, analytics, or tracking) and only retain information longer if a specific legal obligation requires it.
Campaign progress saved by the single-player mode is stored only on your own device and never sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes it.
